It comes with foam ring around the outside and ball deep inside that holds the lubricant, remove those and dispose of them. Next step is to fill it with warm or cold water only, hot water will melt the plastic and release a foul odour. Don't stick anything inside to clean it since it will damage or tear the plastic. Next shake downwards into the sink and repeatedly fill it with water until there are no bubbles. If it start to smell like fishy your product is to old and you should throw it out (trust me on this)
