A recent survey by Saucydates.com has revealed statistics regarding how long men around the world have been lasting in bed, compared to female expectations. Let's just say the expectations aren't living up to reality...

The survey consisted of 3,836 participants who were asked the following questions:

When was the last time you had sex?
How long did it last? (intercourse, not foreplay)
How long would you like sex to last? (intercourse, not foreplay)

The questions regarding "how long should sex last?" were equally distributed to both males and females, the results found that women's expectations on how long they wanted sex to last was significantly higher than what males were capable of.

The Results

The answer for woman when averaged regarding "how long should sex last" showed the optimal time to be 25 minutes and 51 seconds. The bad news, however, is that men all around the world on average are falling short of this time by almost 10 minutes! All hope isn't lost though as when you factor in age and location there are some significant changes.

The United States and Canada lead the charge in long lasting performance with both their peak performances being 17 minutes and over, big win for the North American Continent!

For the rest of us, things aren't as bad as they seem as the results show a clear increase in how long men last as they age, 25 – 35 being the golden years.
