The Serpentine Jacquard Pantyhose are a fantastic pair of stockings, and add a touch of pizazz to any outfit (or lack thereof…). Even the title of these tights is exciting. Jacquard, for those who don’t know their French fabric weaving terminology, refers to the complex woven (not printed) pattern that is created by a Jacquard loom. I don’t think these tights are actually Jacquard, as they don’t have a risen, thicker part of the pattern. Regardless, the pattern looks great, and while the image on the packet has the pattern on the front of the leg, because there is a reinforced toe but no heel, I wear them the other way around, with the pattern snaking down the back of my legs. Sadly, they laddered after only a few outings, but I suspect that was due to rough handling, not a flaw in the product.
