Overall of all the multi speed controllers I have had this has the best variable settings of them all, and I have a lot. Although this time round it has lasted a while, I have had the same controllers in the past break down fast. So it's a bit of a gamble with this type tbh. But definitely my favorite multifunctions

After using a bullet for various applications but getting a bit over the limited battery life of button cells the GF and I, though me more than her, figured a corded, AA powered bullet/egg would be handy. She thought 2 eggs would be a little gimicky but both can unplug if you want to use both, one, or to make storage easier. They're light, well made, pretty powerful and have a nice long cord. Seems the unit has an auto shut-off if the batteries get too hot after long periods of use. Not sure how long the cords themselves will last but at this point we're very satisfied
