The double rounded ends spread the impact nicely, making it great for warm-ups or longer play. It feels sturdy, but you lose some precision compared to a single-head paddle but it makes for a nice experience. If you want to spank but not really inflict pain, it is great for impact play. Also it looks pretty awesome, the double bits add real impact value. I think the problem with the lighter paddles is that they get a bit "flicky" and require more force than gets value.
